Club Lightning Policy

It is Club policy that when the Lightning Prediction System goes into "Red Alert" and sounds the warning (consisting of one 15-second alarm), all outdoor facilities (including the pool, tennis courts, golf courses, and golf range) will be closed and everyone must immediately seek shelter in a safe location.  All buildings on the East and West courses have lightning protection features.  Only after the system issues the "All Clear" signal (consisting of three 5-second alarms), may activities resume.  It is the responsibility of each Member and his or her guest to strictly adhere to this policy.
